The 2nd ADAC Nibelungensprint was also very changeable with rain showers. Also very demanding and slippery. For this reason, in stage 2 the rear broke out in the last corner at around 120 km/h and we took a trip across the meadow. On the second turn of the car, the car hit the edge of the asphalt and we completely destroyed both our tie rod and our already damaged gearbox from the previous rally.

The Laichinger Alb Rally was a very demanding rally with very changeable conditions. Unfortunately, we were disqualified after the first run due to too much (gearbox) oil loss.

During Easter we carried out test drives on the Nürburgring-Nordschleife again. This time with some fans who already knew us. In general, the test drives were successful, apart from minor gearbox problems, and we are ready for the 2024 racing season.

After a technical defect in the cooling system at the 4th Laichinger-Alb Rally, we had to cancel the planned ADAC Labertal Rally Sprint due to enormous delivery problems with spare parts. But we were able to take part in the 1st ADAC Nibelungensprint a week later and finish in 29th place.

Through further test drives, including on the Nürburgring-Nordschleife, the car's setup was changed using various measurements that make the car more stable, especially when driving on unpaved surfaces.

After various calculations were made for asphalt, gravel and rain, the setup could be further changed to achieve optimal driving behavior. The calculated results could be verified using various sensors. Some components have been replaced by others to achieve longer durability. The destroyed components were partially dismantled to determine the cause of the error. The new co-pilot is perfect for all the tasks she has to do. Welcome to the team! Further test drives will be carried out until winter in order to be more coordinated and to develop a routine. With a satisfactory racing car and a great team, we are now ready for the winter and for the competitions in 2023.

With more sensor data, the chassis was slightly modified again to cope with the mixed conditions of asphalt and gravel. The competitions in which they compete use the same chassis for both surfaces. It certainly wasn't easy, but we reached a point where everyone was happy with the racing car. In addition, critical areas that are particularly damaged by the gravel were protected and reinforced to prevent DNF.

Because of the missing number on the chassis, it was decided to install a completely new chassis. In order to install the optimal dampers and springs, a complete chassis simulation of the car was built in "Adams Car". Chassis forces, vibrations and frequencies, slip angles and dynamic wheel loads in various driving scenarios were simulated and recorded in order to determine optimal parameters for camber, track, caster, spring stiffness and damper values. The various chassis components were then purchased and adjusted based on these parameters. Various critical points were also reinforced by welding work. Of course, the optimal value was aimed for in everything but was not achieved because the budget was not sufficient for such custom-made products.

The Opel has not passed the TÜV. Various things such as different exhaust pipes, catalytic converter and steering wheel are not compliant. These will be changed immediately in order to start test driving as quickly as possible. In addition, the number of the H&R chassis is not readable, which is why it cannot be entered.

The car is ready to race. DMSB and FIA inspectors have verified that the car meets all the technical requirements of Group F and is therefore ready to take part in competitions. Now all that's left is the special approval from the TÜV to be able to drive not only on circuits and hill climbs, but also in rallies.
